Home Repairs

Those seeking home repairs follow the same basic requirements as home construction.  Families interested in home repairs do not have to attend the workshop to receive an application but must meet the qualifications below.

Preliminatry Qualifications:

1. You must own the home

2. You must live in Dauphin County

3. Your City, School, and County Taxes must be paid to date

Once we receive your completed application, we will inform you as to whether you qualify for the program and you will be placed on our waiting list.  Next, a home repair manager will schedule an assessment of your property with you in order to see what repairs are necessary. The assessment is then submitted to the Home Repair Committee for consideration.

Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area is unable to handle emergencies.  Due to our modest resources and the high demand for our services, there is a significant waiting list for home repair.
