This year will also mark the 27th year that the Grammy-nominated Eaken Piano Trio has presented its critically acclaimed music across the United States, Canada and around the world.  The Eaken Trio is proud of their community outreach programs that have helped raise awareness of the homeless problems here in America and have generated tens of thousands of dollars to support organizations, like Habitat for Humanity, help the homeless and those living in poverty housing.

The Eaken Piano Trio, with John Eaken, Gloria Whitney and Andrew Rammon, has been honored by Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area as an Outstanding Sustaining Partner of the affiliate.

“Twenty-three straight years!  That is amazing,” said Mark Mattern, Habitat for Humanity’s Director of Development.  “We look at the event as the unofficial kick-off for the holiday season with all proceeds going to help eliminate poverty housing here in Central Pennsylvania. For John and the Trio to come back again to support Habitat for Humanity is simply remarkable.”

There is no charge to attend this wonderful performance. However, an at-will donation will be accepted at the door.  Anyone wanting to reserve a seat for the show may do so in advance by making a $25.00 per seat donation to Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area.  To reserve a seat and for more information, call the Habitat office at 717-545-7299.
