Habitat for Humanity Welcomes New Board Members

 

Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area recently announced that four members of the business community were added to the Board of Directors recently. New members of the board include Zachary Tyminski of M&T Bank, Karl Singleton with Sylvan Heights Science Charter School,  Vicki Shannon, Executive Vice President, McNaughton Homes and James Withrow.  Withrow has been a longtime volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and a former executive with a Perry County Affiliate.

 

Karl SingletonOfficers for the Habitat Board of Directors remains unchanged following the reorganizational meeting as eachofficer will continue in the same role with the non-profit organization.  Officers for Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area include Rich Ruble, President; Janine Park, Vice-President; Gladys Canizares, Secretary and Mark Walker, Treasurer.

 

The group of continuing board members includes Brian Shunk, William Anderson, David Butcher, Chris Dimov, Diane Hess, Norene  Koeppel, Pina McCarthy, Robert Lane, Jr., Alexandra Oles, Jennifer Troutman and David Volkman.

 

Vicki ShannonHabitat for Humanity is an ecumenical ministry that welcomes all people dedicated to the cause of eliminating poverty housing. Since its inception in 1986, the Harrisburg area affiliate has built nearly 60 houses, built 87 homes internationally and completed over 150 Home Repairs by providing simple, decent and affordable shelter with families in need.
