7th Annual One-Of-A-Kind Art Auction

Juried Art Auction

Each year, local artists and community minded individuals generously donate original art, and limited editions to be auctioned off, raising funds for Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area. A portion of the proceeds will be used for the 7th “Artist Build” a home located in Harrisburg, for a low-income family in needof a simple, decent, affordable place to live.

Habitat is currently accepting donations of original art in all media by the creating artist. Oil, acrylic, watercolor, sculpture, jewelry, fiber, glass, giclee photography and traditional, numbered prints are welcome. Commercially produced prints will not be accepted for auction.  As before, work must be framed and ready to hang, display or wear. 

To Participate: A digital photo of the art work must be emailed to Habitat for Humanity.  All entries must be received by January 17, 2012.  Once juried, Artists will be informed about participation.  Art Auction will start at 7:30 PM on March 9, 2012.  An exciting new raffle format will be used this year for all silent auction items.

Artists will receive:

10% of the auction sale price along with the purchaser’s name. (If desired)

Two tickets to the event - a $50.00 value!

                  -6:00 p.m. “Meet the Artist” --Hors reception and auction preview

                  -7:30 p.m. Art Auction begins

Another outstanding reception will be catered by local hotels and restaurants.
